Horror is a genre of games where the creator made the game to try and scare the player. Typically the game does this either psychological with disgturbing things happening underneath the surface. Or just openly actively trying to scare you with jumpscares and such. It is extremely common for there to be some sort of monster hunting you in horror games which leads to chase scenes and such.
